Fix fetch requests (#708)

* Revert audio fetching functionality to use XMLHttpRequest

* Replace requestJson

* Replace requestJson

* Replace requestJson

* Replace requestJson and requestText

* Fix tests

* Include support for vulgar word searches

* Remove request.js
